Fall Creek Falls State Park, situated on the western edge of the Cumberland Plateau, contains over 19,000 acres of rugged beauty. Within the park are both first class recreational facilities and untraversed, pristine nature. Two naturalists are on duty year round at Fall Creek Falls to provide orientation slide shows of the park, nature rambles, cave trips, and tours of the park. Fifty miles of trails, including 25 miles of backpacking trails and 20 miles of biking trails, lead the visitor away from the roads and into the heart of the wilderness at Fall Creek.
